When my mother passed away in April 2020 and I was appointed her personal representative, I was at a complete loss as to how to handle “probate.” After doing some internet research and asking for a referral from a friend who had just gone through the probate process for his father, I contacted Bob Montgomery. After our oldest son passed away unexpectedly we found ourselves with a lot of questions. We attempted to handle the Probate ourselves but quickly learned we needed a reliable and knowledgeable legal resource. Robert Montgomery did an amazing job for my family. We found ourselves in a bit of a pickle over a property owned by my recently deceased mother.
We thought all of her assets were held in a family trust. We listed a house under the name of her trust. Our offer was accepted and a closing date was set. The title company said, wait a minute this house isn’t owed by the trust it is held in your mother’s name and probate will be required. The title company predicted it could be up to a year to go through probate. I called Bob and he listened said he could get it done by the closing date, 15 days away and he did.
Thanks to Bob we closed on the house on the closing date and he handled all the hassle. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help in probate court.
